September “Palouzes”

On Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 9.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.Women Association of Rural Larnaka is organizing thefourth event in a row, “September Paluzes” and invites all of you to visit the outdoor area of ​​the Larnaca Rural Women’s Association in Agios Theodoros, where you will have the opportunity to see up close the wholeprocedureof making « palouze » and of « soutzioukko » which is as enjoyable as their rich, sweet taste. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn how to pass the almonds and walnuts into the thread, but also to see up close the immersion of the thread into the « palouze ». They will definitely have the opportunity to try hot « palouzes » as it comes out of the cauldron!
