WKF Karate 1 Youth League Limassol 2022

The World Karate championships for U14, U16, U18 are for the ages of 12-17 years old and the athletes who will be distinguished are classified in a scoring system.

These championships are one of the four World Championships of 12-17 years that take place for 2022 in the world (Mexico, Cyprus, Croatia, Italy), which are under the World Karate Federation. Also important is the participation of international referees who in order to be able to participate in World or Continental Games their participation should be necessary in the championship in Limassol. More than 1500 athletes from 50 countries from all over the world are expected to take part. In addition, more than 360 approved coaches and in addition the escorts, parents and friends of foreign missions participate. The races will be at the individual level of Kumite (fight with opponent) and KATA (race of predetermined craftsmanship techniques).
The Cyprus Federation will participate with about 200 athletes from all member clubs.
